UK Global Talent Visa
The UK Global Talent Visa is a visa opened by the UK government in 2020 to attract talents in arts and culture, academic research, and digital technology. It grants a 3-year or 5-year work visa, after which you can apply for permanent residence. Currently, the program is in a new policy period with lenient review, fast processing, and high success rate. During the work visa period, you are not required to be employed in the UK; you can work full-time, part-time, or be self-employed. If you do not apply for permanent residence temporarily, you can renew the visa indefinitely. There is no UK residence requirement for renewal. During the work visa period, children can attend primary and secondary schools for free, and spouses can work locally. It is also one of the shortcuts to obtain a green card in a major country at low cost!

Application Requirements

- Must be at least 18 years old
- Endorsement Requirement
- Obtain endorsement from a government-designated endorsing body
- Medical Examination Requirement
- Pass tuberculosis (TB) test
- Academic Research Field Requirements
- 1. PhD degree 2. Provide 3 referees from the same field, one of whom must be from the UK 3. Have research projects or published literature
- Digital Technology Field Requirements
- 1. Middle or senior management in a company 2. Provide 3 referees from the same field (no need to be from the UK) 3. Provide project participation documents
